We've stayed here many times, only ten miles from home. Some sites have sewer, some do not. Beautiful views, sunsets, water fowl. Boat ramps and fishing, golf.
This was our second visit to Salmon Point. The first time, we only stayed two nights, this time for a month. Going back again in 2007 for a month. We had a waterfront site overlooking the Georgia Straits. This is a beautiful park, well-maintianed and very user-friendly. The grounds keepers are out and about every day and the results are obvious. We've camped in every state west of the Mississippi and two Canadian provinces, and this is one of the best.
Very large back-in sites. The park is on the banks of the Missouri River and allows easy access to Omaha and Council Bluffs. We have stayed there three times, and will again. The only reason we don't stay there more is that I use the nearby military FamCamp and only use Haworth if the FamCamp is not available.
